Tucker's Preschool Graduation

This morning Team Davis celebrated Tucker's graduation from preschool!
Click here to watch them walk in to pomp & circumstance.
You can see the big deep breaths he's taking and how serious he is!
This is Mrs. Amy, the director of our Mother's Day Out program.
She is so, so precious- loves Jesus and is so good to people.

She led us in a prayer
and then they sang Jesus Loves Me and 10 Little Speckled Frogs.

Tucker had a sweet solo -
his very favorite song, Amazing Grace.
precious baby.

They did a cute oral reading of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.

Then our beloved Mrs. Kathy called them each up to receive their diploma,
and let them tell what they wanted to be when they grew up.
Tucker said he would be "a Blue Angels driver."

He was second to be called up, so he had to wait a bit for his friends to have their turn:

These are blurry but they make me laugh so much.
He spotted me taking pictures and did this:
This is how he acts when he's "dead."  Ha!

What a rascal!  He was so mad I kept taking pictures of his nonsense.

Team Davis was so proud of our littlest teammate!

This is our beloved Mrs. Kathy.
I've taught with preschool teachers.
I've been a preschool teacher.
And I'm here to tell you that this lady is the best of the best.
She gave my Tucker the very perfect k4 year.

Afterwards there was a reception where Tucker devoured cupcakes

and Lana lost a tooth!

Mrs. Kathy gave us these enormous binders full of Tucker's work,
and special memories.  There were so many treasures in these books, but this is my favorite:

Today was a precious, wonderful day!

I am so thankful that he has one more year before starting kindergarten.
Next year he'll be in VPK (voluntary pre-kindergarten) from 8:30-11:30 each morning.  It'll be a great transition from 3 day a week Mother's Day Out to 5 full days of school.
