Last night we were so fortunate to celebrate Christmas with our Heritage staff family.
It was almost too wonderful to believe,
that a year ago Dan had just graduated,
and we had just heard about HBC for the first time.
We had no idea where the Lord would bring us!
So, so thankful.
We started with a delicious, traditional Christmas meal:
I loved looking around the kids table,
and knowing that our children will grow up together.
A gift, to be sure.
While the adults finished eating,
the kids ran wild together, having the best time:
Tucker was flat-ironing Hayley's hair.
He loves this girl!
I read the Christmas story from this:
and then we all sang Christmas carols together....
a sweet time of worship.
Tucker snuck in some Mrs. Wendy snuggles...
she is our church secretary, and he adores her.
To be honest, we all do.
This woman is a gift from God to our church and staff.
Then he wanted to help Sammy on the keys...
Big sis is not a performer,
but she sure does love that her brother is.
We had a wonderful night,
kept our kids out past 9:00 p.m.,
and went to bed with full hearts.
