I found this yumminess on Pinterest,
and thought it was the perfect treat to make with the kids!
It turned out to be our favorite that we've made this year.
They're quick and easy -
perfect for a last minute gift or a gorgeous treat to share.
Here's the recipe:
1 package of big marshmallows
1 package of candy canes
1 package of chocolate almond bark
Crush candy canes as finely as possible.
Melt almond bark according to package directions.
Dip marshmallows in chocolate, then crushed candy canes.
Place on parchment paper to dry.
I asked the littles to help me crush up the candy canes,
and they recruited their dinosaurs for help:
Oh my YUM!
When we finished with the marshmallows,
we still had almond bark left,
so we dipped pretzels that we happened to have in the pantry.
That turned out to be our absolute favorite:
the combo of salty pretzel and sweet chocolate and mint is divine.
My taste testers give this recipe 2 thumbs up!
I love that it's simple enough for them to help from start to finish.
We're making another batch of these for a cookie social coming up.
