Celebrating T-bone.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Tucker Davis!

This year Tucker had a race car birthday party!
Lana chose the theme -
he was happy with her pick!
He calls birthdays "Happy Day!"
and woke up this morning at 6:30 a.m. saying
"My happy day!  My happy day!"

The decorations were fun -
"road" tablecloths, vehicles included,
checkered flags, and matchbox cars as favors.

We held the party at his favorite park in the world -
Solutia Park, just about a mile and a half away from our house.
It's on the property of a chemical plant, which is kind of weird,
but it's beautiful and a lot of fun!

Tucker spent most of his time in the swings - he loves them.
Check out his adorable shirt!  My sister-in-law's sister made it for him.
"Like" her at "Polka Dot Tots" on Facebook.

Only mama would do to push.
Separation anxiety is never fun,
but I admit to secretly enjoying being his favorite person in the world.

He did venture out of the swing to play in the tunnel,
which is everyone's favorite:

It's hard to believe our baby boy is 2!
We're so thankful for him.

How precious is Lana's little mouth,
"helping" him blow them out?!

He did a great job blowing them out!

 eating time!
a little help from mama.

This boy makes my world go 'round.

 Our family, celebrating Tucker.
We don't take the richness of this for granted, not one bit.

And this was only half the party -
we had lots of friends celebrating with us too....
the kind of friends who are like family.

Tucker with his Daddy and Great-Grandaddy.
I love these 3!

Sweet baby boy was so tired by the end of the party!

He got to open all of his wonderful gifts later, at home, with some help:

There are hundreds of pictures of all the fun we had today -
these are just some of our favorites.

Tucker Philip,
you are so loved.
You have such a rich heritage,
surrounded by a huge, loving family
and some of the best friends you can imagine.
This next year,
may you grow "in wisdom and stature,
and in favor with God and man."
